BUSINESS PROCESSES MAPPING

SysBPM (Business Process Management) is the Sysplorer module focused on the mapping of business processes. It outlines processes, the machinery involved, and their interactions with the IT system and the tools and resources involved. Process mapping aim is to show the situation of the company in all its activities, in order to harmonize workflow and procedures with the purpose of improving them and increasing their efficiency.

This mapping activity allows you to understand:

If the process is efficient: after the mapping is done, analyses can be made, for example, of the costs and the possible inefficiency potentials.

The value stream created in the process.

Whether the existing procedures cover the entire perimeter of the business process and are consistent with it.

The workflow of the process and the operating mode of the company as a whole, as well as any redundant processes in different corporate departments.

Using SysBPM, you can map your business processes through three different methods:

The SIPOC: this method provides a synthetic overview on the operating mode, the inputs and the outputs, and identifies the other fundamental elements of the process, such as suppliers and customers.

The Business Process Diagram (BPD): it is a flow chart that shows in detail all the activities carried out within a process.

The Value Stream Map (VSM): In the industrial world, this method follows the creation of the products in order to identify the value stream created.

Why choosing it ?

Because it allows you to have a global overview of your company. There are many types of process analysis, some of them analyze the logical flow and the resources combined in order to constitute the process. SysBPM also outlines how the activities and devices communicate with each other and how they affect each other.

Because it allows you to identify security risks. In this digitalization phase, in which the important thing is to switch to 4.0 as soon as possible, SysBPM helps prevent security issues or domino effects by studying the junction points (technological and not only) within the various business processes and the risks connected to their malfunction or breakdown.

How does it communicate with others Sysplorer modules ?

It connects to other modules by transmitting information on:

Locations data

Mapped processes

Resources used

Interconnections between processes and / or company areas

Potential critical points

Possible impacts on the business

Prevention options
